Shot in an Idle day

These pictures have been taken from in and around my University campus. The department has shifted. No doubt we all simply love the new building with all the necessary add-ons but hate the distance we have to cover from the front gate to our new Dept. located in some far away forgotten corner. Anyways, it gave a chance for me and some of my friends to discover some unexplored quiet places.

And then there are the Kashbons...

Went to AUS at dawn once about 10 years ago. Started from home on bicycles at 4am and at that time of the morning the roads seemed somewhat eerie. Met lots of milkmen on their way to town, got chased by stray dogs. It was great fun.

Are the Kahsphools still blooming- it is March now.

I heard the department is on a hilltop now, cut off from the rest of the world, on top floor are the fine arts guys and there are no proper mode of transportation...
well, evening walk would be a pleasure i guess, we used to walk a lot after the classes were over, it was nice, when the sun light was dying and a cool breeze swept across the face...if possible please send some pics of the department.....old love die hard...keep walking!!!

Jus a suggestion .You can tag that picture as "The road to library”. Consider it lightly

@ Sujoy:
The location of the university is great as per as scenic beauty is concerned; the distance, still dangerous. Things have changed a lot though and if you are talking about a decade back, things have drastically changed. There are concrete bridges now, no transportaion problems as such, (Sumos are available at all odd hours). We'd heard terrible tales. Was expecting the 'worst'. Thing will only get better I suppose.

Yup! It's almost Spring but the Kashphools have decided to prolong their stay, I guess.

@ voice of silence:

The walking habit has definitely got a boost and the greatest advantage is that the library is so much nearer. The breezes still leave you Breathless, the window curtain can't help dancing to their enchanting tunes. I was planning to post the pictures of the department but I wanted to get better ones. They'll soon be here:)

@Still thinking!!!:

I've made the necessary changes, 'considering it lightly'.
