Enjoy the city.
Not a bad place at all with all the colourful language....Blue Liners are always a danger though.

Haha! I too went to Delhi once...to stay....

hated it very much... still hate the people for their roughness... but now cannot stop loving them for that either.. because their roughness is actually the basis for their being hardworking.. In Delhi everything moves fast!! Delhi Rocks!! I wish we bengalis or Tamils.. [the latter ooohh!!] learnt something from the delhiites without of course losing our softness.....

Now I am not sure if I can go back to Calcutta... !! Nothing there except being my hometown.. even the AMC chap for a filter was talking about rules today at Calcutta when the delhi chap of the same filter company broke all rules to help me.... this is the dfference.. delhi rocks!! calcutta talks!! Alas in spite of being a 100 % calcuttan I hv to say this.. I wish things changed...

awww.. you going back from Delhi? Will you return again?

Nah! You cannot love Delhi at first sight if you are not Delhi-Wala.... rather you hate it at first.. but then it grows on you and you see its true strengths... and start loving it.. maybe for outsiders like me born and bred in Calcutta- it will be a love hate relationship - love because of the speed at which things move in Delhi compared to Calcutta.. value of time is appreciated here... and hate because of the roughness of the people.. but this slowly grows on you and you learn to blend..maybe grow a bit rough yourself..
If you were for just one month.. then yeahh.. you need to come back..

I miss Delhi because now i am at a 3rd place Chennai... aaaaannnnd!! that is a place which Sujoy can describe better -- as he has in my blog... on chennai! LOL!

btw Blue lines are not dangerous when you are IN them...but because most of the times you are UNDER them!!
haha!!...

I will wait to hear your experiences.. on Delhi.. do keep in touch.. on such a common interest..

I lived in Delhi 25 years ago. The wide Willingdon Crescent with trees all along, on the one hand-and paharganj on the other!. Strolling aimlessly on winter afternoons. The sudden cooling of a summer afternoon after an aandhi. But I hear it's not teh same now.
Thanks for visiting my blog
